OK. FIrst. im sorry for not posting anything. Its not my fault, its jz tat i run a very routine life, and if i blog about my very routine life, you will get bored wif my very routine life, coz my very routine life is very boring, and my very routine life do not have much activities and the activities are very limited, hence tats y i define it as a very routine life. Noticed tat i used very routine life 6 times?

Tats how boring my very routine life.

Now i used it 8 times. =P

in tat post, he said ppl shouldnt criticize rap songs or heavy metal songs coz nursery rhymes are equally as bad in meaning.



Many ppl , especially old ppl, keep on saying,

"aiyo, y u listen to these new songs ar? all no meaning wan. not like the good old days when the songs where so soulful and meaningful. Now wan songs onli got shouting and simply sing words and use vulgar language"



I dun deny tat old songs have meaning, but seriously, arent the old songs all alike? >< i mean for me their meanings are pretty much the same, give n take some songs.

I dun deny old songs are nice to listen to, due to their soothiness and their calmness of ther music. But then, there are new songs tat do tat too rite.

Rock wasnt invented in 2000. it was invented god noes when. So y is modern music associated wif ROCK and RAP?

Rock singers like Queen are symbolized by old ppl but singers like bonjovi, evaescene and linkin park are "EeYer"s for them.

Queen is good, but Bonjovi is equally good.

Cold play is good. and of course, LINKIN PARK is smokin.

Y is it , tat old ppl find it so hard to understand our songs when we can understand theirs?



Meaning wise, its untrue to say songs now dun have meanings. Its bcoz songs now have deeper meanings.

Old songs are like, " i lover her, i miss her, i court her,"

or " i love her, she dun love me, i will wait for her"

or "i dun like her, she like me, i duno wat to do"

(referring to love songs)

no offense. i like old songs too!

but love songs nowadays dun imply such easi storylines.

Their songs imply more meaning, mayb some dun agree deeper, but for me it is.

Did any old singers sing about our lives as teenagers being complicated?
Simple plan did it.

Love songs are overflowing. Both happy and sad endings.

Their meaning are just as deep.

No1 said love stories have to be slow. Fast songs can be full of meaning.

Take some of eminem songs, if any old ppl ever bothered to listen to the choice of words he used, they would realise, they arent just random words tat rhyme. Its more like he picked the right words n they just coincidentally rhyme. N his a rapper. A white rapper to add.

anwayz, there are tons of songs which i just cant remember nw tat i tink are on par if not better than old songs.

of course, old songs have their value, but yet again, dont our songs now?

all im just trying to say, dun discriminate songs for their type nor their age.

music is music, no matter in wat form.
